Microphone and Remote

The microphone works for hands-free phone conversations as well as voice recording software for the Touch (1st through 3rd generation). The single button remote is compatible with most iPhones, iPods, iPads, Macs, Blackberry phones, and Android phones with functionality such as answering/hanging up calls, playing and pausing music, and more. Remote button is located in the center of the mic/remote housing, slightly offset to the plug side.

6 Sets of Ear Tips

Six sets of ear tips give you more variety to find one that works best for your ears.

• Large Triple-Flange tips (Installed): These tips will fit the most ear sizes and are a good place to start. They are soft enough to be inserted deeply and not be uncomfortable for most people while providing an excellent seal. They should be pushed all the way in, unless you experience discomfort, at which time you should not push the tip in any further.


• Small Triple-Flange tips: These tips are included if the large triple flange tips are too big for you but you need a longer ear tip due to the shape of your ears.


• Bi-flange tips: These tips are included for when the triple-flange tips insert too deeply and are uncomfortable.


• Silicon tips, small, medium, large: These tips are included to help ensure you will get a comfortable fit with a good seal. Many people report these tips work well for their ears.

Carrying Case

High quality carrying case gives your earphones protection when not in use and even fits some small players and/or other accessories for safe keeping.

In-Ear Fit Guide

Sound quality and bass response are dependent on the seal achieved between the ear tips and your ear canal. Please try the various sizes of ear tips included with your earphone to determine which gives you the best sound and comfort. The sound may change depending on the insertion depth and tip size.

First Use

The MEE M6P earphone is an over-the-ear earphones with memory wire and may take several minutes to get the MEE M6P positioned for the best sound. Adjusting how the memory wire is positioned, insertion angle, as well as tips are important for comfort and getting a proper seal. If you do not hear much bass, you do not have a good seal. If the treble sounds harsh, the earphone requires a deeper insertion. Six sets of ear tips have been provided to help you achieve the best seal and comfort possible, please try the tips you think will fit your ear canal size best. Note: different ear tips may change the sound you hear due to how deep they insert and how well they seal. Usually tips with more flanges offer better isolation.

Earphone Insertion

Each earphone is marked with a R for right and L for left channels. The MEE M6P channels are not swappable due to the design. Moistening your ear tips may make insertion easier. Pulling the upper part of your ear (helix) up and back while inserting your earphone opens your ear canal during insertion, which may improve your ability to get a deep insertion at the proper angle.

Using the Memory Wire

The memory wire keeps the cable over your ear and in place so the M6P will not move around even during sports and activities. The memory wire is designed to be flexible and bent to the shape of your ear. The first time wearing the M6P, put the driver housing in your ear and bend the memory wire around your ear to achieve a conforming fit. The memory wire will retain its shape for easier future installation. Repeatedly bending the memory wire at sharp angles will break the memory wire.

Burn-In

Many owners have stated that the sound may improve with use when compared to the out of the box sound. This change in sound will occur with normal listening and is not necessary; however you can accelerate this process by playing music at a normal volume continuously for the first several days, called burn in.

I own the M6 in clear and it sounds great and stays put during workout. I bought it for working out, but liked the sound better than my other in ear headphones from V Moda and Sennheiser, so I stared wearing it when I listen to movies at night and for on the go. I decided to get the M6P for the mic/remote and am very happy with it, especially for the price. I can't believe this thing is so cheap but sounds so good. MEElectronics has made me a loyal customer with their value!

Pro

WOW, these sounds incredible. Bass is punchy and contributes to the fun, clear and warm sound signature. It is plenty in volume without overwhelming the midrange which is quite an achievement in this price range. Midrange is slightly recessed but the treble is great.

They are well suited to almost any kind of music but excel in Rock/R;B/Trance

They are also the most comfortable headphone I ever bought, yet they extremely secure for sport activities. The Microphone works great with my phone and iPod.

Con

The memory wire needs some times to get used to, they are very comfortable, it just a pain in the butt to put on, however once you get use to you can just snap them on.

Other thoughts

Get them! I did some research before I bought this one. MEE seems offer great sound quality for the price and they have great CS.
