I am a serious audiophile and value GREATLY the quality of sound in all of my electronic products. I use the QC2 (Bose) for travel, and own several other circumaural models. I've been wanting to acquire an in-ear model with wood, but so far have stayed away from the suspect offers on the market that seem gimmicky and cheap. I read about the J.Fi in an audio blog review, and for the price decided to give them a try.

Amazon delivered quickly, as usual. The packaging is very basic, but there's less to throw away, and easy to open. The product is attractive, the ebony wood feels very fine to the touch, and the grain is beautiful. I like the contrast with the metal. Overall, a very good build. There are 11 different cushion options in both black and clear, and a cable clip.

I burned them in with JLab's online tool to warm them up a bit, and fitted them with the medium double flange cushions. The bud is light, well shaped, and slim, and the fit is very comfortable. In honor of Beethoven appreciation month, first track was B's 5th. I must say, the sound quality is impressive. For an in-ear bud, the frequency response is nice and wide. B's symphony comes across in all its glory. The sound is indeed warm and rich with great detail.

I spent a few enjoyable hours in my massage chair, sinking into the sound, and glad I made the choice to pick these up. And with the compact pouch included, these are easy to pack in my carry on.

Wanted to let my fellow Amazononians know, JLab has done a fine job with the J.Fi. Recommended.

I travel a lot for work, and I use the J.Fi wood earphones, by Jlab audio, all the time. They take away all the excess noise on the airplanes, which makes my travels peaceful. They stay put in my ears, while working out, which is very important. The look of these earphones are not like the rest, which makes them very unique. They are well worth the money.
