Professional Quality Headphones

These headphones are great for monitoring your recordings or high-fidelity enjoyment of your favorite programming.

With 40mm driver units, the MDR-V6s produce deep, accurate bass, along with crisp highs and midrange tones. The neodymium magnets pack more magnetic energy per ounce than other common magnet materials, helping to produce ample sound output wtih 106 dB/mW sensitivity.

A Copper-clad aluminum voice coil wire provides low mass, high heat conduction, which means superb power handling for the most intense sessions. Speaking of copper, the oxygen-free copper litz cord offer maximum conductivity with minimal noise.

Comfortable, Circum-Aural Design

The MDR-V6s feature soft oval earpads, with a circum-aural (over-ear) design to add extra isolation from ambient noise. A wide, padded headband distributes the headphone's weight over a wide area, which means reduced pressure for comfortable listening hours on end. A ten-foot cable means you can move around freely while listening at home, working on media, etc.

Easy Portability

The MDR-V6s' folding design makes for quick and compact storage. Slip the phones into the included soft case and hit the road.

Sony UniMatch Plug

Use the fixed mini plug for portable use and this detachable 1/4-inch phone plug for home hi-fi use or other 1/4-inch applications. The MDR-V6 suits either.
